Chart notes
NAVY ARMED GUARD stalked the pace through the second turn, came three wide on the second turn, launched a run nearing the three-sixteenths pole, hit mid-stretch on top and dug in late to prevail. CUPID'S CLAWS settled in the middle of the field, was four wide on the second turn while gaining ground, continued that bid in the stretch, could not reel in the winner but bested the rest. ZESTFUL contested the pace by ANYPORTINASTORM through the second turn, was two wide between horses on the turn, lost ground on the turn and was outfinished by the top two, though an easy third. INDIAN PEAK settled toward the rear of the field, made a bid while five wide on the second turn but did not go on with that run and had no rally in the stretch. HARMON had no speed early, was two wide on the second turn while trailing and weakened in the stretch run. ANYPORTINASTORM bobbled at the start, was hustled to set the pace through the second turn, saved ground on the second turn, stopped leaving the second turn and had no response in the late stages.
