Chart notes
RUN ROCKET was allowed to settle out of the gate and raced four wide heading into the first turn, remained well reserved racing in the back through the backstretch, picked up the pace four wide with three furlongs left to run, swung six wide into the lane, roused forward to duel with CABO"S RUNNER in the final sixteenth, dug in gamely under pressure and nipped foe on the wire. CABO'S RUMOR rated through early stages then picked up the pace two wide entering the far turn, took closer order then was set down four wide for the drive, edged forward and dueled with RUN ROCKET in the final sixteenth, dug in gamely and got nipped on the wire. LUCKENBACHER raced five wide into the first turn then settled off the early pace, launched a three wide bid entering the far turn, vied for the lead in the upper stretch, dug in and held a slim lead at the eighth pole then failed to kick on with outside pair in final stages. GOOD OLD CHARLIE tracked the top two leaders through the backstretch, hustled up and raced between foes in aim for the lead at the quarter pole, fought back in the upper stretch then gave way. WHATDATPAY RAY raced off the early pace, coaxed three wide around the far turn, swung five wide into the lane then chased on evenly. FREE INDEED set the pace through the backstretch, got collared for the lead late on the far turn then weakened in the lane. GREELEY WENT WEST settled along the inside through early stages, saved ground around the far turn and lacked a rally in the lane. JOHNNYSJOURNEY raced off the pace, urged three wide around the far turn but failed to move on. TAKING NOTES was forwardly placed through the backstretch then faded around the far turn.
