Chart notes
FIRE DOWN BELOW dueled inside of RIBBONS AND MEDALS around the turn, shook free turning for home, quickly widened to a clear advantage and finished going away. WEALLWEGOT raced up close along the rail around the turn, tipped out a path wider for the drive, sustained a steady effort and cleared second best. COMMISSIONER BIGGS was forwardly placed in opening stages, raced three to four wide in close contention at the quarter pole, went five wide into the lane, stayed on with response and edged out foe for show. TRIPLE A. PLUS raced off the top flight entering the turn, remained forwardly placed turning for home, angled in a path in the upper stretch then got edged out late for show. RIBBONS AND MEDALS vied outside of FIRE DOWN BELOW in opening stages, remained in aim around the turn then flattened in the lane. MARTINKELLY clipped heels shortly after the start, raced in the back along the outside, edged up closer around the turn, fanned out wide into the lane and failed to move on. THE RIDER OF MARTINKELLY LODGED CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST RIBBONS AND MEDALS AND TRIPLE A PLUS FOR INTERFERENCE AFTER THE START, AFTER STEWARDS REVIEW THERE WAS NO CHANGE
