Chart notes
RUNNING ON ENTRY rated forwardly about two wide, angled out leaving the far turn, circled five wide with momentum into the lane, closed steadily under pressure, took over inside the sixteenth pole, edged away a bit then held sway. LOVE MY CAT settled well back while about two wide, moved up past the three sixteenths, swung out to the center of the course and finished with good energy to gain and nab the place. DIXIE'S FASCINATOR prompted the pace outside MAYFIELD OF DREAMS, moved to apply more pressure into the far turn, dueled, held a slim lead near mid stretch, battled past the sixteenth pole then gave way grudgingly. CORAL SUMMER , well placed off the rail, moved up and took aim of the dueling leaders past the five sixteenths, gave hard chase past the eighth pole but lacked the needed finish. ABILIFY dropped in early and settled, continued inside to upper stretch, angled out and had belated action. NOTION INTERRUPTUS saved ground stalking the leaders, moved up into the far turn, eased out for the drive but was stalled lacking room leaving the furlong grounds. MAYFIELD OF DREAMS went clear early, set the pace towards the inside, was confronted leaving the far turn, battled to the sixteenth pole then weakened late. LA SMARTY , between rivals a long way, pursued into the stretch, angled out but came up empty. SARA PLAIN N TALL lost ground four wide and faded around the final turn. BELLATORA broke awkwardly, recovered and edged up while saving ground, moved to within striking distance past the five eighths, pursued to the three eighths then faded. SMART ENTRY , four to five wide, gave way. TIGERTINI lost contact early and was distanced.
