MISS DIAL raced off to a clear lead into the first turn, continued well clear into the backstretch, was under pressure into the far turn, dueled with the winner into the lane then could not keep up but kept on to be clear for the place spot. PEYTON'S COLLEGE was unhurried while off the inside, bid three wide into the far turn, chased the top two while in the three path into the lane and could not gain thereafter. SAINT J J chased the pace from along the inside into the far turn and was empty in mid-turn.
