Chart notes
MAVERICK MAN raced in mid pack, came two and three-wide through the turn, rallied gamely and swept to the lead in deep stretch under a hand ride. EXECUTIVE GIANT stalked the pace, bid late turn, dueled, turned back ARQUEBUS but was passed late by a late comer. AFLEET EDDIE was rated in striking range, rode the rail and two-wide on the turn, was blocked several times in the final 16th, angled out and finished gamely. ARQUEBUS had speed and moved clear to set the pace, dueled into the stretch and gave way grudgingly in deep stretch. PERSONAL JOURNEY settled off the pace, angled from the rail to three-wide on the turn, chased into the stretch and showed some interest on the way to the wire. DOMINANT FACTOR raced in mid pack, came four-wide through the turn then finished evenly from the outside. LIVERPOOL MAN stalked the pace, came three and four-wide through the turn, then flattened out in the final 16th. KING OF GYPSIES got away slowly, settled off the pace, came two to four-wide through the turn but lacked a rally.
