Chart notes
DOWNY BOY stalked the pace, was hustled along the rail through the turn, chased in the stretch, had command a 16th out and prevailed under a drive. CARL G had speed, dueled with BACHELOR PAD through the turn and into the stretch, was passed by the closer on the fence but held the place position. BACHELOR PAD had speed, dueled from the rail, battled into the stretch, but the speedster was passed with a 16th still on tap and gave way grudgingly. SPRING EDITION broke outward and bumped TORPEDO MAX, settled in mid pack, came along the rail and two-wide on the turn and was all out through the stretch. MIA'S EXTORTIONIST settled off the pace, closed three then two-wide on the turn then rallied gamely to no avail. DOUBLE THE HEART raced in mid pack, was hustled four-wide on the turn but never reached contention. BALA FALLS stalked the pacesetters, was hustled two and three-wide on the turn, chased into the stretch but evened out in the final 16th. ROBUSTO bumped with TORPEDO MAX leaving the gate, settled in mid pack early but dropped back to the rear while four and five-wide on the turn and was not a threat. YOLA stalked the pace, was hustled three and four-wide on the turn but tired in mid stretch. FLASH OF SILVER, in range early, dropped back on the turn and lacked a rally. BON PRIX broke outward but had speed and pressed the duelers, dropped back late turn and could not muster a rally. TORPEDO MAX was pinballed between SPRING EDITION and ROBUSTO leaving the gate, was checked from behind a rival soon out of the gate, raced in mid pack five-wide on the turn but lacked a closing response. HARDY CANDY stalked the pace, came four and five-wide through the turn but evened out in the stretch.
