Chart notes
HARD TO DENY tracked the pace of his stable-mate from the inside, remained inside for the drive, reached the fore nearing the three-sixteenths pole, opened a clear lead with a furlong to run and held sway to the wire. UNMACHABLE raced unhurried early, moved three-wide through the second turn, drifted in with a furlong to run and again nearing the sixteenth pole and finished well when straightened away. OH MARVELOUS ME stalked the leaders while racing three-wide, checked nearing the sixteenth pole and finished well when clear. SPITTIN IMAGE sprinted clear at once, saved ground while setting the pace, could not match strides with his stable-mate in the drive and gave way. ELLIOTT BAY was forwardly placed early, moved four-wide through the second turn and weakened after going three-quarters.
