Chart notes
RUMBLE STRIP RON had speed from the start along the inside, angled out three wide past mid turn, surged to the from in upper stretch and drew clear under left handed urging. TURNING PAGES away alertly, set a pressured pace along the inside into the stretch, angled out late but was no match for the winner. SAMMY'S SMILE raced outside and went evenly. STUNT MAN hopped outward at the start, rushed to contention five wide into the turn, drew on near even terms for the lead then came up empty in the stretch. RUM CHASER failed to menace. INTO GOLD had brief speed. KID VAN pressed the pace into the turn then gave way. OLIVER'S ODDS was in tight along the rail, checked at the nine sixteenths pole and dropped out of it.
