TIZ INDEPENDENCE stalked the pace into the stretch, closed willingly while drifting out to the seven path under left handed urging and was along in time. LUCKY TO HAVE ME dueled for the lead two wide into the stretch, made the lead before the furlong marker, drifted out to the six path and was caught in the late stages. LISTEN UP battled for the lead along the inside until upper stretch and weakened late. EMPRESS ALEXANDRA failed to menace. MRS. ROBINSON had brief speed.
