Chart notes
OPEN OUT was well placed, and saved ground, rallied at the top of the stretch on the rail, had a perfect trip and drew off. BARITONE was unhurried early, rallied in the stretch four wide and was second best. ALFRED set a pressured pace for three quarters and gradually weakened. ISTILLGOTIT dueled while between horses and tired in mid stretch. B DUBYA was allowed to settle early, swung wide in the stretch and was no threat. IRISH PROUD raced mid pack and tired on the far turn. SMASH raced close up for three quarters, then gave way.
