Chart notes
MAYCEE JO broke on top and set the pace through the turn while saving ground, felt pressure from the runner-up in the final sixteenth but held on to win the head nod. DEE GEE bobbled at the start and chased from the rear early, was four wide on the turn while steadily gaining ground, continued that run into the late going to pressure the winner but could not reel her in while holding for second. SUGAR CRUSH tracked the leaders through the turn while three wide between horses and made a late rally in the stretch to get the show. SLEW OF FASHION prompted the pace by the winner while two wide between horses on the turn, was outkicked in the stretch and just missed for third. SPUN AWAY chased the pace while saving ground on the inside on the turn and gave way in the stretch run. FRIEND OF AUTISM was away last of the field and chased the field from the rear, was three wide on the turn and was not a threat.
