LOOSE BALL showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the second turn, angled out nearing the sixteenth pole and was gaining on the winner late. POPPY'S C NOTE was reserved just off the leaders from the inside throughout and finished evenly late. MIDNIGHT LUCK pressed the pace of the winner while racing three-wide, drifted out nearing the five-sixteenths pole and gave way in the drive. STANLEY RYDER raced four-wide through the first turn, lacked early foot, saved ground through the second turn, angled out into the stretch and did not menace. TRIUNFADOR settled off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the second turn and weakened.
