Chart notes
PATROL stalked the pace on the outside, moved up to gain a short lead through the turn, then appeared to duck out under left hand urging, straightened and lasted. WHERE YA GOIN OWEN set the early pace on the inside, stayed on when challenged through the turn, then lacked the needed late kick and missed. HONORABLE HERO allowed to settle, saved ground on the two path through the turn, bid on that path and had a mild gain in the lane. BREVET OFFICER well placed and outside, moved up two and three wide through the turn, bid three wide into the lane and evened out. C THE KING never far back, moved up three and four wide through the turn, bid four wide into the lane and had no rally. ROBERTOS TICKET never far back, gained position on the two path through the turn, bid on that path and faded the final furlong.
