Chart notes
SPETTACOLI (ARG) allowed to settle, looped up four wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane, made a steady gain and edged up in the final strides. PREQUALIFIED stalked the early pace on the outside, bid outside of that one into the lane, gained a short lead at the furlong marker, then was outfinished. VERY REPLACEABLE tracked the pace, held position on the two path through the turn, bid three wide steadying into the stretch, waited, angled out, then closed well when clear. CHUCKLES CANDY mid pack, saved ground through the turns, angled out to bid three wide into the lane, then evened out. TEXAS GIANT allowed to settle, looped three and four wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the lane and improved his position. CHAOS KID set the pace on the inside, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then faded the final furlong. ART OF THE DREAM was no factor.
