Chart notes

APPELLANT unhurried early while trailing the compact field into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, launched his bid three out from the rail entering the final turn, and closed four wide in the drive to get up in time. WICKED FORTITUDE stalked the dueling leaders into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied smartly three wide entering the final turn, and closed two out from the rail from between rivals in deep stretch to get the place. THE CHANCES R broke sharply and dueled two wide from between rivals for the lead in the run down the backstretch, rallied two wide from between rivals entering the final turn, held the lead into the stretch but was unable to fend off the closers in deep stretch. DEMERARA away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail in the run down the backstretch, struggled to keep up with his pace rivals while continuing to save ground through the final turn, and had little to offer late. SPOKANE'S GEM away well and pressed the pace three wide in the run down the backstretch, rallied two out from the rail entering the final turn, but weakened in the stretch drive.
