Chart notes
BRITTS A CLOSER outrun for five furlongs, asked along when beginning to advance midway on the final turn, angled four wide turning for home, came in to tighten up a tiring JACK THE RIPPER past the furlong marker, kicked clear under steady handling. PEACOCK KITTEN void of early foot, saved ground into the far turn, continued to advance and lodged a rail bid when straightened for home, took over with less than a furlong remaining, proved no match for the winner in the final strides. YOUNG BULL settled off the leaders, lost some position while in some traffic late in the final turn, came three wide into the lane, up late for the show with some mild interest. CORRUZE closest to the leader, advanced on that one along the inside, put a head in front turning for home, showed the way past the furlong marker, allowed the runner up the inside nearing midstrtech, faltered when headed with less than an eighth remaining. LAFITTE'S FLEET in mid pack early, lacked a closing response. JACK THE RIPPER (FR) clear early, set the pace off the inside, gave up the inside to CORRUZE in the second turn, got out to be three wide into the lane, was tiring when put in tight with a furlong to run, continued to fade.
