Chart notes
COWBOYS DAUGHTER sped to the front and moved clear off the rail around the first turn, gained company midway up the backstretch, cleared again nearing the far turn, drifted four wide into the stretch, challenged by FI FI PHAROAH with three-sixteenths remaining, lost command at the eighth pole, fought back in the final furlong and edged the runner-up. FI FI PHAROAH stalked in the two path then between runners, bid inside at the three-sixteenths pole, took a short lead at the eighth pole, battled in deep stretch and faltered late. COVER VERSION raced in range off the inside, was driven three wide into the stretch and finished evenly for the show honors. LOUD LOUD MUSIC came away awkwardly at the start, steadied off heels into the first turn, swung six wide into the stretch and weakened. TIZNO'S DILEMMA drifted out into the first turn, was sent inside and applied pressure on the pacesetter midway up the backstretch, lost contact nearing the far turn and weakened. FROSE forwardly placed outside the leader then three deep on the backstretch, angled out on the far turn and came five wide into the lane, had the rider lose the whip in mid-stretch and also weakened.
