Chart notes
SAMURAI CHARM sped to the front in the two path, showed the way off the inside up the backstretch, came back to the two path for the far turn, led three wide into the stretch, lugged in and out from upper to midstretch, continued clear into the furlong grounds, drifted out at the sixteenth pole and was able to hold on. VELVET SLIPPERS settled in the two path on the first turn, went three to four wide into the stretch, drifted across rivals near the three-sixteenths pole, continued to drift in while closing in the final furlong and missed. PAIGE ANNE went three to four wide around the first turn, went outside rivals on the second bend, came four wide into the stretch, was bothered a bit by the winner drifting out at the sixteenth pole and kept on willingly. HARPER'S GALLOP raced up close outside the pacesetter, chased two to three wide around the far turn, bumped with inner rival then steadied nearing the three-sixteenths pole and weakened. CANDURA stalked inside then moved off the rail into the backstretch, traveled two wide around the second bend, bumped with rival approaching the three-sixteenths pole and weakened.
