ISTAN COUNCIL raced in the three path along the first turn, stalked the early pace, raced in the two path along the far turn, was in the three path into the lane, took over command, drew clear near the eighth pole and lasted in the final stages. SARACOSA trailed the field early on, raced in the two path along the first turn, was in the four path through the far turn, rallied down the lane and was gaining in the late stages.
