KIRK OF DIAMONDS dueled for the lead while two wide on the backstretch, rallied on the far turn while inside a long drive and proved best in late stretch. HOODOO BROWN stalked the pace while three wide on the backstretch, rallied on the far turn making a strong bid to late stretch but came up empty in the end. HUNTER QUICK dueled for the lead while inside, was in a long drive and gamely dug in but weakened in late stretch. SMOK'N POLICY was unhurried early while racing on the inside on the backstretch then failed to menace. VIX VISION was allowed to settled while racing three wide on the backstretch then faltered. JUST FRED was unhurried early then raced two wide on the backstretch but was no threat.
