ROCKTIZWAY was unhurried early then rallied on the turn, moved out to be five wide and was in full flight to be up in the final strides. WAKE UP CALL chased the early pace while three wide into the turn, rallied and was four wide in the stretch, made a strong bid in mid stretch and put a head in front in late stretch but was second best in the end. ROYAL BERTRANDO dueled for the lead while inside, was in a long drive but weakened in late stretch. HUBBADAHUBBADABOOM dueled for the lead while two wide, was in a long drive but tired in late stretch. OPTIMAL chased the early pace while inside into the turn, made a bid and tried to split rivals but was squeezed twice and came up empty in the end. TRUMPENCE was inside then saved ground on the turn then made a bid but was no menace in late stretch.
