Chart notes
THE PRESS tracked the pace in early stages, picked up the pace around the turn then was set down five wide for the drive, edged up closer under left handed pressure and got up on the wire. REELFOOT raced in the back through early stages, saved ground on the turn then angled out at the top of the lane, advanced to challenge three deep past the furlong marker, took over the lead then got caught in final stride. FREIBURG tracked the embattled pair into the turn, moved up three to four wide entering top stretch, vied four deep in the final furlong then lacked a closing kick. MISTER MCLEAN dueled inside of BUCKLEY BOY for the early lead, battled on into the final furlong then gave way. BUCKLEY BAY dueled outside of MISTER MCLEAN through early stages, battled on into the lane then weakened near mid-stretch. WINE AT NINE raced in range along the outside around the turn then faded in the lane.
