Chart notes
CANDIED LUTE sped to the lead at the start then came under attack from LOCHNESS, vied outside of rival then shook free midway around the turn, went two wide into the lane, responded willingly when called upon and drew off. MONSTRODAMOUS was ridden along the outside around the turn, hustled along four wide through the lane and finished second best. PERFECT D tracked the top two early leaders, was ridden along three wide into the lane then sustained a steady bid for to prevail for a share. MOJAVE saved ground through early stages then tipped out a path midway around the turn, got in tight when LOCHNESS came in a path approaching the eighth pole, steadied and chased on evenly. LOCHNESS vied with the winner for the early lead, could not maintain equal terms mid-way around the turn, went three wide into the lane then drifted in a path causing things to tighten up approaching the eighth pole and weakened. MIDNIGHT LUCK raced in the back, was ridden along two wide into the lane and failed to move on. TIZ MANNY chased three wide around the turn, came out wider for the drive and had no late response. SHARK HARBOR chased in range on the inside, saved ground into the lane then got in tight approaching the eighth pole, checked and dropped back. THE STEWARDS POSTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN, AFTER REVIEW STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED LOCHNESS FROM FIFTH AND PLACED HIM LAST FOR DRIFTING IN APPROACHING THE EIGHTH POLE
