Chart notes
LOOKINGFORANEWSPOT chased inside and rounded the turn at the rail, took the advantage leaving the eighth pole and dug in determinedly to ward off the challenge of MANAROLA through the final sixteenth, while the latter chased from the outside, rounded the turn three wide, entered the stretch four wide and dueled to near even terms mid-stretch, but was outfinished the final sixteenth. BELLA GIANNA chased toward the outside, rounded the turn five wide and dug in through the stretch to take third the final yards. GANDHI'S CASTLE drew clear and angled to the inside to set the pace, was caught leaving the eighth pole and flattened stride in the lane. SCARLET TANAGER chased through the backstretch, raced at the rail on the turn then weakened. OPEONGO broke awkwardly and gave close early chase, raced just off the rail on the turn then flattened inside the eighth pole.
