Chart notes
MY SUNSHINE sat just off of the early pace, mounted a bid on the second turn to collar STONE GROOVE, had a clear lead into the lane and felt mild pressure in the late going but held to prevail. LORD WIMBORNE (IRE) settled at the rear of the field, saved ground on the second turn, rallied leaving the turn and mildly pressured the winner while clear of the rest. STORMING WARRIOR had no early speed, was three wide on the second turn and closed well in the stretch to get the head nod for third, but was not challenging the top two. STONE GROOVE set the early fractions, saved ground in the two path on the second turn, was collared by the winner on the second turn and weakened in the late going. MIKE OPERATOR stalked the early pace, lost ground leaving the second turn and gave way in the stretch run. GOING AWAY PARTY tracked the early pace, lost ground while four to five wide on the second turn and tired in the stretch drive.
