Chart notes
CULTURED PEARL prompted the early pace, closed the gap on DIRT FLIRT nearing the furlong marker, dueled with that rival inside of the final sixteenth and dug in in the final strides to prevail. DIRT FLIRT set the early pace while being prompted by CULTURED PEARL, saved ground on the second turn, gained a bit of ground on the winner leaving the second turn but was met by that foe, dueled inside of the final sixteenth and was bested while well clear of the rest. BLUE BREEZE was unhurried in the early stages, saved ground on the second turn and had no final kick in the stretch. PARTY SPIRIT (GB) stalked the early pace from a ground saving position and weakened in the stretch run. UNUSUAL SECRET tracked the early pace, was four wide on the second turn and gave out in the stretch drive.
