Chart notes
WHISTLER DIXIE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, held sway without challenge, then lasted under steady pressure. DOMINANT STRANGER rated outside, held position on the two path through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch and lacked the needed late kick. HONEY BEEST tracked the pace, saved ground through the second turn, angled out to bid three wide into the lane and evened out. CHIPSHIRE allowed to settle, looped up three wide through the second turn, bid four wide into the lane and ran evenly the final furlong. SEEKING VIOLET well placed and outside, held position on the two path through the second turn, bid three wide into the lane and weakened. BELL THE CAT ran evenly, inside. WHISPERING WANDA was never involved.
