Chart notes
HUCKLEBERRY FRIEND rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure into the far turn, contested the advantage at the rail through the turn and was steadily handled in the stretch. WEAVINTHEBLOCKS angled to the inside and settled off the pace, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail then dueled for second inside the sixteenth pole. SALTY J J stalked two deep then challenged nearing the quarter pole, contested at a close disadvantage off the rail on the far turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. CAYATANO stalked the early pace three wide, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, ran in the three path of the turn then finished well while gaining on third. GHOST MINE saved ground, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and showed little more. TEDDY TED rounded the opening turn in the three path then eased out into the backstretch, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but was not a factor.
