SHAMCAT closed to the lead nearing the three quarter pole and tapered to the inside to rate the pace, kept the edge over TWOBITSARIDE from the three eighths pole, came under pressure into the stretch then taken in hand late yards, while the latter stalked off the rail, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn still off the rail and finished evenly while settling for second. PROUD ENOUGH settled close toward the inside, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and ran evenly in the lane. WHAT A STORY saved ground off the pace, bid approaching the three eighths pole, raced in the five path of the far turn then flattened the final furlong. BAY HILL raced just off the early pace in the two and three paths, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and showed little further. C B BODEMESTER rounded the opening turn in the four path, gave chase outside from the half mile pole but was not a factor.
