Chart notes
JOVIAL JOHN stalked the pace drawing even abreast foe in upper stretch tightening up that one before angling out to meet a wide challenger brushing the latter at the wire. OIL COLONY gave a mild rally on the turn coming six wide down the lane surging late being brushed by angling foe at the wire. U S S COSTLY set the pace being hooked and tightened up along the inside in upper stretch hanging tough pressing in bid to the wire. TWO GOLD SPOTS slow early saved ground to upper stretch gaining late along the rail. PURE MOMENT hustled along pursued through the turn then weakened in the four path upper stretch. FLUG played no factor. SWAT PARTY was always outrun. MOODY'S BROTHER showed early speed then gave way to upper stretch. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION JOVIAL JOHN WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SECOND FOR INTERFERENCE WITH OIL COLONY NEAR THE FINISH.
