Chart notes
EVENT PARTY stalked close up two wide, bid two wide entering the far turn, dueled with KODAPENDENT, put a head in front, battled it out with that rival through a long stretch drive and maintained a short edge to the wire. KODAPENDENT set the pace on the inside, dueled with the winner on the far turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch drive and battled determinedly to the wire. COMEDIC TIMING bobbled at the break, raced two wide off the pace, chased two wide on the far turn, dueled with TRUPIA through the final furlong and got the nod for third. TRUPIA raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the far turn, dug in through the stretch drive and just missed for the show spot. BOLD LICORICE raced off the pace inside, chased on the far turn and failed to threaten. CASH KID raced five wide early, then three wide off the pace and did not factor. UNCLE JEROME raced four wide early, settled off the pace between rivals and gave way.
