Chart notes
SWEET LAURA was off slow at the start, raced in the back in the opening quarter and continued reserved into the turn, took closer order and angled for racing room at the head of the lane, was put to a drive three wide, surged to the wire and got a head up in final stride. DIGNIFIED held a slim lead in opening stages then conceded position to rail running JODGE JUDITH, weakened off the top trio then launched a re-bid with a quarter-mile remaining, sustained a steady bid near the inside through the lane, took control from weakening CHESS NOT CHECKERS then got caught on the wire. CHESS NOT CHECKERS raced up close then moved up to match strides with JODGE JUDITH at the three eighths pole, vied around the turn then cleared on top turning for home, remained clear past the furlong marker then came up tired in deep stretch. NORTHERN TRANSIT was forwardly placed out of the gate, chased the top pair around the turn then came up empty in the lane. JUDGE JUDITH positioned a bit tight along the rail and took over the early lead from DIGNIFIED, vied for the lead with CHESS NOT CHECKERS around the turn then retreated in the lane. ENOUGH RAIN raced along the outside and failed to move into contention.
