Chart notes
THISLILLIMEOFMINE gave chase outside, rounded the turn in the four and five paths, dug in from the head of the lane and got up the final strides. EASTBOUND N DOWN took the lead nearing the half mile pole and set a clear pace, rounded the turn at the rail, was steadily handled through the stretch but was caught flattening stride late yards and just lasted in second. TICKLING SPRINGS chased through the backstretch, angled to the outside on the turn and entered the stretch in the six path, dug in through the final furlong to take third at the wire and just missed second. ROCK BREAK chased toward the inside and rounded the turn near the rail, entered the stretch in the three path, finished evenly but was nipped from third under the wire. VIDMER'S COURAGE gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path and ran evenly in the lane. HE'S ON THE LINE gave chase inside, raced near the rail on the turn but was eased nearing the sixteenth pole.
