Chart notes
BLACK STEEL took quick control to rate the pace inside, came under pressure leaving the five sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled through the lane. EXCALIBUR rounded the opening turn about the three path and raced outside into the backstretch, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, came through the far turn near the rail and was no match in the lane. RRACE DAY WARRIOR settled back off the rail the first turn then eased outward into the backstretch, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, improved in the three path of the far turn and ran evenly in the stretch. SUSPIROS settled back in the two and three paths of the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, ran in the four path of the far turn and finished evenly. TRUE CROSSING stalked the early pace off the rail, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but weakened off the rail on the far turn. NUCKY saved ground off the pace, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and weakened.
