Chart notes
BOARDWALK BOB was reserved early, then advanced two wide on the turn and split rivals past the quarter pole, shook clear leaving the turn and then held sway late under a drive. COMBATING was settled back early and was five wide down the backstretch, then advanced four wide by the quarter pole, closed well late to just missed. DON TATTO was allowed to settle while three wide, made a two wide bid on the turn, then dropped down to the rail by the quarter pole and faded in the drive. MARC WELLS was reserved early, came four wide into the drive and offered a belated rally. FLAHERTY chased the early pace on the inside and tired. MISTER ARANGUIZ failed to menace. DO THE BUNNY HOP was through after a half mile.
