Chart notes
GIBBY'S GEM set a pressured pace on the inside, then was headed and gave up the lead leaving the quarter pole, dug in gamely in the drive and was resurgent to edged clear late to prove best under a drive. FLATTERING RUBY pressed the winner and made a three wide bid to take a short lead by the quarter pole but hung late while clear second best. LOVELY LYDIA was allowed to settle early, advanced three wide on the turn but offered no late rally while besting the rest. WILDCAT CARTRIDGE chased the early pace on the inside and weakened. MS TEEK lacked a rally. TWIRLING WIND chased the early pace four wide and weakened.
