Chart notes
POOF HE'S GONE set a four wide pressured pace, opened up in early stretch, drifted in and held. JEWEL OF NAVARONE stalked the early pace, angled out five wide into the turn, was no match late and finished second best. ZAMBEZI FEVER pressed the early pace from the inside and weakened late. INDIAN GAMBLER was allowed to settle early from between rivals and finished evenly. MR LEVI CANYON tracked the early pace, raced seven wide into the turn and was empty. KEY TO THE CITY was unhurried from the inside and passed tired rivals late. MR CHARLIE KING was void of speed, advanced nine wide and offered no rally. FRED raced in mid pack early, went five wide and never fired. TRACE OF GOLD was reserved early from between rivals and was no factor. DUE TO A TIMER ISSUE THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
