FRANKS DEHERE tracked the early pace, raced six wide into the turn, took control at the eighth pole and edged clear. RISKY REVENGE chased the early pace, raced seven wide through the turn, was no match and finished second best. GAMBLING COWBOY followed the early pace, raced eight wide out of the turn and was along for third. BESITOS CRIMINALES set a clear early pace from off the rail, drifted out and tired. S L R GUS MCCRAE was void of speed, raced along the inside and offered no late rally. SMOOTHING IRON was unhurried early, went four wide and never fired. LINCOLN COUNTY KID was allowed to settle early, raced nine wide and was empty late.
