Chart notes
RULE FOLLOWER chased the duel while in the two path into the far turn, bid three wide to press the pace while between rivals, continued between approaching the quarter pole then inched up to the eighth pole and cleared late. CRIMINAL DEFENSE was unhurried while near the inside into the far turn, raced in the three path in late turn, came into the lane from the four path and finished with good energy to to be clear for the place spot. FALLEN EMPIRE vied along the inside into the turn, repelled challenger in late turn, was joined by two others, yielded to the winner near the eighth pole and lost the place spot late. MR. BIFFLE stumbled at the start and was steadied, raced well back for half, began moving a bit through the turn and rallied belatedly along the inside. HE'S A WARRIOR chased the pace while in the three path into the far turn, bid four wide through late turn, came into the lane from the five path and weakened. HARD NIGHT stumbled at the start, hustled up to vie for the lead two wide then gave way approaching the quarter pole.
