Chart notes
CHARM WEAVER dueled for the lead past the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, raced clear past the three eighths pole and angled to the inside, contested the edge at the rail on the turn and was steadily handled through the lane. IRISH KNOCKOUT contested the pace through the backstretch and raced at a close disadvantage off the rail on the turn, dug in leaving the turn and finished evenly at the outside flank of the winner. SENSE OF MUSIC hopped from the gate and gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn in the four path, drifted to the six path toward the head of the lane then dueled through the stretch for third. SMOOTH DANCER chased inside but was hemmed in leaving the three eighths pole, angled out to make contact with Slip Slidin leaving the five sixteenths pole, started a bid off the rail midway on the turn but was outfinished in the stretch duel for third. PARTLY DANDY gave chase, rounded the turn about the six path and ran evenly in the lane. WALKNTHEPLANK chased, raced near the rail on the turn and showed little further. TAPIZAR GIRL chased toward mid track, rounded the turn in the four path and proved empty in the lane. BAYOU BOUGIE came away rank and raced well back outside early. SLIP SLIDIN gave chase three wide, was bumped outward and into CITY PRINCESS leaving the five sixteenths pole then faded on the turn, while the latter gave chase four wide, was bumped outward past the five sixteenths pole and weakened.
