Chart notes
MASTER THIS stalked two deep then moved to even terms leaving the first turn, dueled through the backstretch and contested the edge through the far turn, dueled clear toward the head of the lane and was kept alert down the lane. QUID PRO QUO stalked from the three path, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and dug in to take second later yards. DOC ELM rated a slim lead inside, was met leaving the first turn and dueled at even terms through the backstretch, contested at a close disadvantage nearest the rail on the far turn, but dropped back into the lane and flattened the final furlong. JACKSON MAN settled off the pace inside, bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and ran evenly in the lane. GOLDEN METTLE came away a bit awkwardly and settled back in the three path the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail, eased outward leaving the turn and finished evenly. CHAMPSTER rounded the opening turn about the four path and showed little response through the backstretch.
