Chart notes
DERBY DAY DREAMS broke a bit awkwardly then pressured the pace, contested at a close disadvantage two deep while between horses on the turn, dueled for the nod mid-stretch and dug in determinedly to hold on. NOCASHREFUNDS pressured the pace three wide, dueled at nearly even terms on the turn and dueled to take second late yards. HOPPING HENRY set a pressured pace leaving the seven sixteenths pole, was met at the rail past the quarter, dug in gamely to late stretch before relenting and just held on for third. WARRIOR'S ESTATE was kept in check through the backstretch, started a bid into the turn and raced in the four path through the turn, dug in the final furlong and just missed third. ELEANORS JACK broke a step slow then angled to the outside to give chase, ran in the five path of the turn and finished evenly widest. VIDMER'S COURAGE chased inside, rounded the turn at the rail then flattened the final furlong.
