Chart notes
GRAD BASH had good position on the inside, angled out three wide on the far turn and made the lead at the quarter pole, widened late under firm handling. MOBIL AT LAST was unhurried early on the inside, rallied in the stretch three wide and was up for place. GLIDING ALONE was never far back early, had a mild bid four wide while no threat. CANT BUY COOL dueled on the lead, steadied slightly at the quarter pole and gave way in the stretch. CONEY ISLAND KID dueled on the lead from the rail and came up empty in the lane. The stewards posted the inquiry sign and the rider of CANT BUY COOL claimed foul against the rider of GRAB BASH for interference at the quarter pole. After viewing the tape the stewards took no action.
