Chart notes
GENO settled off the pace, saved ground on the turn, swung four wide into the stretch, rallied to get the lead into the final furlong, bumped with the runner-up late and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. UN OJO bumped with a foe entering the main-track, settled on the outside, was roused three wide on the turn, rallied to make a bid into the final sixteenth, bumped with the winner late and just missed while clear for the place. UNIQUE UNIONS had a shoe repaired in the paddock, broke in but was away fast, set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied along the rail on the turn, shook clear into the stretch, led under a drive to the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken while clear for the show. HOT STEPPER raced well back in the field, went two then three wide on the turn and improved position. KENNER broke in and a bit awkwardly then bumped with a foe, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the turn, dropped back into the stretch and tired. STIRDATPOT bumped soundly with foes on both sides at the start then bumped with a rival early, bumped with another foe entering the main track, went four wide on the turn, was driven six wide into the stretch and came up empty. BUSTIN PIETRE switched out then chased the pace, went three wide on the turn, spun five wide into the stretch and capitulated. MASETA settled off the pace, saved ground for most of the turn, shifted three then four wide late on that bend, came seven wide into the stretch and was no factor. IRON LION IN ZION was bumped at the start then forced into another rival, bumped again early, went two to three wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. HOBOKEN JACK broke out and bumped with a foe then was taken up some , went three to four wide on the turn, paused off heels coming to the quarter-pole then spun five wide into the stretch and also was no factor. SAFALOW'S MISSION steadied in the early going then dropped back, went four wide without being asked on the turn, drifted inward in upper stretch and showed little.
