Chart notes
NO BURN prompted the pace on the outside, took the lead at the seven-sixteenths, vied in the two path on the turn, shook clear late on that bend, came three wide into the stretch, drew off under a moderate hand-ride into the final furlong then maintained a safe advantage while eased up in the final sixteenth. BLU GROTTO was void of speed, saved ground for most of the turn, shifted three wide late on that bend, swung six wide into the stretch, gained while remaining on his inside lead and secured the place. ROYAL REALM settled just off the pace on the outside, was asked three wide on the turn, chased four wide into the stretch and weakened while clear for the show. F F ROCKET settled towards the rear, moved closer with six furlongs to run, shifted from the rail to the three path on the turn, came five wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. CORKMAN dropped back early then settled on the outside, went four under urging on the turn, came seven wide into the stretch, drifted in near the furlong marker and was no factor. EXXTOP moved in outside the three-quarter-pole, settled just off the pace under some restraint, was asked in the two path on the turn and came up empty. BLAKE B. climbed near the seven-eighths pole, settled off the pace, was urged along passing the five-eighths then chased the pace, saved ground on the turn and had nothing left. ALTERED bumped soundly with a foe at the start, settled towards the back, dropped to the rear in the three to four path on the turn and faltered then was eased but walked off. SWINTON bumped soundly with a rival at the start, recovered well to set the pace, lost the lead at the seven-sixteenths, vied inside on the turn and stopped then was also eased but walked off.
