Chart notes
LINCOLN HAWK (IRE) unhurried early on from inside, tipped two wide leaving the second bend, angled out in the stretch, rallied five wide and surged clear. PRINCE ABAMA (IRE) stalked in the two path or outside rival, asked three wide on the second bend, rallied four deep in the lane and got up for the place. APPRECIATED sped clear and controlled the pace, held a short lead leaving the far turn, maintained a slim advantage into the final sixteenth and got edged for second. LI MU BAI (IRE) pulled early and checked off heels on the inside, continued along the fence stalking the pace, tipped out in upper stretch, rallied between foes under right-handed urging but got outkicked. LIBERAL (IRE) unhurried in the opening stages, went three wide around the first turn, angled to the two path for the second bend, traveled a bit off the rail through that turn, steered out in the drive, had to pause briefly in midstretch before finding a clear path and kept on to the wire. MEMO DADDY (CHI) pulled early and was forced to checked off heels, sat off the pace in the two path then steered out a bit further on the backstretch, took the far turn two then three wide, angled out in the lane and lacked a rally. NILES CHANNEL was closest in pursuit through the early stages, bid outside leaving the far turn, chased between in upper stretch and flattened in the late stages.
