Chart notes
BLEECKER STREET was allowed to settle early on, waited briefly near the quarter pole, swung out five wide and finished well to prevail under strong encouragement. PYTHONESS was unhurried in the early stages, raced just off the inside around the far turn, angled five to six wide through the upper stretch and finished well to be second best. SLIME QUEEN stalked the early pace along the inside down the backstretch, raced two to three wide in the stretch run and kept on to the wire. CLASSY WOMAN was quick to begin to set the early pace and weakened a bit in the drive. BRAMBLE BAY stalked the pace, moved up four wide near the quarter pole and flattened out in the drive. ZARINA was off a step slow, settled to the middle of the pack in the early stages, raced four wide in the lane and had no response. TAP DANCE FEVER stalked the top pair early and tired. FIRSTMATE was slow early, raced five wide near the three sixteenths pole and failed to respond.
