Chart notes
COUNTERFEIT raced within striking distance, moved up around the final turn, dueled down the stretch and drove clear before the wire. GOTTATAKEHIMTO lacked early speed, came around the second turn three wide, dueled down the lane, was outfinished for the win, but held on for second. LUNDI bumped at the start, quickly went to front, drove clear, raced close throughout and was outfinished for second. MAJESTIC SOCIETY lacked early speed, improved position, but was no factor. IDE LIKE HAWAII broke out, pressed the pace and faded. JR'S SAUVAGE raced near the middle of the field, faded and was no threat late. DOUBLE PRIORITY raced within contention, saved ground around the second turn and dropped back. THE JOCKEY OF #3 GOTTATAKEHIMTO LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #2 COUNTERFEIT FOR INTERFERENCE IN LATE STRETCH. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
