DARKNESS TREMBLES went to the front, drove clear, saved ground around the turn and was kept to the task. MEANT FOR ME broke a step slow, quickly moved up, within contention, couldn't catch the winner, but proved best of others. CALICO JOE void of early speed, saved ground around the turn and proved no match for the top two. BUTWAITTHERE'SMORE lunged at the start, raced near the back and was never a factor. AMANDAS NEW MAN lacked early speed and was never close. CROOKED BANKER pressed the early pace and faded.
